Placement
I decided to take a few photographs at my Placement at Iramoo over the two week block. There was a beautiful rainbow which I though would be a good composition for my photographs. Also, there are a lot of native plants which look really beautiful.

Week 6
This week we focussed on Learning new editing tools on photoshop such as sharpening our photographs and using the burn tool as well as using our own techniques to edit our photographs. I found these techniques interesing especially in terms of refining our photos for presentation. I am continuing with my black/white and colour theme for my photographs.
Here are some photographs I have edited using the techniques from todays class:

Self Portrait Task
Its hard taking a self portrait without your physical self, reflection or shadow being present. I guess its a way to think outside the square. After alot of thought, I decided to take a photograph of something that represents me and what I like. Butterflies are one of my favourite animals/insects and I like what they represent.

WEEK 4:
Last night I went into the city to take photographs to see the differences between the day and night in the city. I had trouble getting the correct photograph during the night, so I decided to try the manual setting because I knew it was one of the hardest settings to use. I was able to take some interesting photographs. I edited some of these in today's class by adjusting the curves and saturation etc.

Editing Photographs
In the previous blog I stated that I wanted to edit my photos by having a black and white and colour contrast. I thought this technique was rather effective. I am thinking that this could be my underlying theme for my folio of photographs.
