WEEK 3:

This week the class brainstormed a list of the design elements and principles and we had to choose five of them to focus on for our photo shoot. I chose to focus on Colour, Texture, Line, Pattern and Form.

I felt more confident using the camera today. I explored the different functions and was able to be more creative with my photographs. I mainly focassed on the brightly coloured flora that was around Victoria Universitys campus. I am hoping to go into the city this weekend to take some more photographs.

I zoomed into this plant to show the detail on the leaves and edited it on photoshop by changing the colour saturation and shadows.

I edited this photograph by adjusting the saturation and colour balance to highlight the patterns within the plant.

The detail in the leaves is very clear and the colour of it contrasts with the background.
I achieved this by zooming in on the leaf and in photoshop I changed the colour saturation.

I edited the photograph on photoshop by adjusting the hue and colour balance to show more detail on the leaves.

I like this photograph because the texture on the leaves are so detailed due to it being a close up shot. I brightened the colour by changing the colour balance and hue on photoshop.
